Health : General Community Initiatives |
Community Cardiac Camps are conducted
both at Hadapsar and Saswad periodically every year for
the benefit of needy populations (slum communities, poor
farmers and agricultural labor, senior citizens etc.). For
this purpose we have a tie-up with Inlaks & Budhrani
Hospital, Pune. After each camp, people who are advised
further tests like 2 D Echo, TMT etc. for complete diagnosis
are referred to our tie-up hospital and the cost is borne
by the company.
Our Community Health Camps for women
are highly appreciated. The program is especially focused
on women above 40 years of age with particular emphasis
on diagnosing anemia, high blood pressure, diabetes, menopause
related and gynecological diseases. PAP smear test is
also included for diagnosing cervix cancer at an early
stage. The follow up to the camp is scheduled after a
week of camp date, when all the participating women receive
their reports with individual guidance from gynecologists
from tie-up hospital. We also support further investigations
like sonography, mammography or cervix biopsy if advised
by these specialists in order to help in diagnosing certain
ailments at an early stage.
Till date 1544 persons have benefitted from such general
community health camps mentioned above.
